With loads of action in the Traffic and Transport sector, ratio: is pleased to be involved in no less than five of the key projects, focussing on local and regional traffic impacts.
Melbourne Metro: working with property owners in the vicinity of three of the proposed underground railway stations,
- Melbourne Grammar at Domain,
- RMIT at CBD North: and
- GWF Mauri at Arden/Macaulay.
Our work is helping their understanding of, and inputs to the Environment Effects Panel Hearings.
Punt Road Clearways: assisting Stonnington City Council in its negotiations with VicRoads on the implementation of the 24-hour Clearways along Punt Road.
Chandler Highway Duplication: working with the VicRoads team on the acquisition of land from the Amcor development site in Alphington, required for the duplication of the highway, including two new 3-lane bridges across the Yarra River.
Railway Level Crossing Removals:
- Hobsons Bay Council, analysed the traffic impacts of the removal of the Kororoit Creek Road crossing,
- Banyule Council, with a long-term plan for Lower Plenty Road when the level crossing in Rosanna is removed.
Western Distributor: Assisting Maribyrnong Council with their assessment of, and response to the Transurban proposal for the Western Distributor, particularly what needs to be done in the EES process to ensure that the historic problem of trucks in residential streets of Yarraville is permanently resolved.
