Mercedes Benz wanted a re-placement for its new car and service dealership in South Melbourne. The final design included a two-level showroom and multi-level workshop and parking area for client and stock cars.
The Challenge:
The small site required multi-level buildings for both car sales and service areas. The short frontage to Kings Way required creative solutions for vehicle access (up to semi-trailer size car transporters).
The Approach:
Ratio worked closely with the Client, Architect, Council and VicRoads to achieve an optimum layout.
All aspects of the planning and design needed to be consistent with Daimler Chrysler / Mercedes Benz global branding for it's dealerships.
The Result:
The dealership is fully constructed and operational.
